
HEY! I know what you need in your life. If you feel sluggish and down.
You need to go outside more. In our current society everyone is online all the time, I mean you have to be online right now to be reading this, which is great but we need to take time off from media. When we relax and have down time we usually spend it watching tv and on our phones.
Sometimes that is great but other times it is better to go outside and walk. We need to connect with the real outside world and appreciate the nature and world around us.
I recommend this because I didn’t go outside unless I had to and definitely did not go on walks or hikes. I began to feel depressed being inside all day and even when I would drive to the store and back. I needed more. So I noticed people walking and jogging when I would be driving and say, “that needs to be me….but not today”. I came up with excuses and eventually decided to go on a walk. I decided that every week I would go on a walk/hike somewhere to be outside and in nature and it has made me feel so much better.
I am not a pro hiker that goes in the middle of the wilderness with only a compass and a stick. You just need to go outside and walk with some trees and the sun. It will improve your mood and give you energy and a positive feeling. You also can get in shape which is a bonus. It helps your overall mental and physical health. Take time today or tomorrow and go appreciate the nature around you.
